I smell a scholarship to NU where he will anchor three-consecutive Big Ten championships.
His career with the Bears is a bit fuzzier in my crystal ball, but there are Superbowls…
He made great improvements this season. He started on the offensive line as a right guard and by the end of the year was doing a very nice job of opening up a hole for his running backs. He also played defensive right guard a fair amount. He was the lineman who most often when both ways. In the Championship game he made a solo tackle on a running play. So, it was quite a banner day.
It is was of the major advantages of a smaller school. At a larger school I don’t think he would have had the opportunity to play nearly as much.
